We photograph it, show you, and quote the deep-sweep tier needed to remove it before it becomes a chimney-fire risk. Most heavy-creosote re-cleans are handled on a single visit.

Our standard chimney inspection is $89, and that fee credits toward any sweep or repair we perform on the same visit. Final price depends on whether your fireplace is wood-burning or gas, how heavy the creosote buildup is, and whether the cap, crown, liner, or damper need work. Tell us your New London address and we'll quote a firm range before we drive out.

A full visual check of the firebox, smoke chamber, damper, flue, liner, crown, cap, and exterior masonry, plus a roof-side look at the chimney top where it's safe to access. If you book a sweep or repair afterward, the $89 credits toward that work - so you only pay it as a standalone fee if you decline service.

No - that price is per chimney on a standard residential home. Multi-chimney homes, multi-flue systems, and commercial properties are scoped on the call. We tell you the per-chimney total before we dispatch, and the credit-toward-service mechanic still applies.
